Jim, or Matt as he was known to friends,  was one of my best friends for many years. We kept in contact throughout our lives up until the last 2 years when health concerns kept us both from getting together.  Any hunting or fishing experiences in my life I owe to Matt, because no one in my family did either.   He always blamed me for his parents making him go to  Catholic instruction after school, because my parents required me to go.   The instruction only served to create 2 lifelong agnostics.

Your life on this earth was well spent.  I  will miss seeing you.

Pete
