Saundra was one of my best friends in junior high school at Alameda and during our sophmore year at Poky, until her untimely death that year! She was so intelligent, talented, and well liked by everyone. She and Noble Lindley had only been married a short time. Such a young love-at only 16. Saundra, her mother and aunt were all taken in the car accident. Her  vivid memory will always be and has always been with me from that time. She was an exceptional person and friend!

Saundra was a fun friend of mine.  We all had such good times at Alameda Jr. High and at Poky High.  I will never forget that sad Mother's Day when she died. I lost a good buddy.

Saundra died during our Junior year at Poky High.  I had moved to Bountiful, Utah, in February, and came back to attend and sing at her funeral with our former sextet.  She was a bright talented wonderful lady!

Saundra was a  beautiful, talented person. Saundra, Roma, Mary Lou and I spent wonderful hours together as friends. Mostly, we would gather around the piano at Croshaws and sing our hearts out.  Of course, other dear friends were included in our miscieveous great ideas and shenanigans.Saundra was perfect; we loved going to her voice training. Wow! She held us in awe.

Losing this dear friend was overwhelming for us. Miss Bell let the three of us miss a "free day" out of school without penalty IF our parents approved, to drive up to the Willard Cemetery. What good memories of Saundra we have! How blessed we were to have known her.
