Charlie was a good friend to Dennis & I. I bowled every Wed night and Dennis and Charlie would go to Lava and soak in the Hot Pools then go to the Blue Moon Bar. They would have a hamberger and play pool or darts. I loved it when I didn't have to bowl because I got to go with them. He and Dennis were friends from the time they were very young. He was so special to us and we miss him!
I have many good memories of Charlie as I was growing up. He was a good friend and so fun to be with. I lived in the same neighborhood as Dennis Turman and Charlie did and had the privilege of knowing them both very well. Its fun to remember to good old days on Roosevelt street and all the good times we had growing up.
