I was born in Pocatello and graduated from Poky High where a Latin class sparked my first interest in classical history and mythology. I continued my education in Los Angeles, where I met my husband, and worked as a data control analyst and technical writer for a large corporation. My long abiding love for ancient history, especially anything Roman, drew me inevitably to writing historical novels.
