The world is a lesser place today; Gary Fenwick has left us in late November 2011. I have known and been a friend of Gary since we were in the third grade at Emerson elementary school. Gary, Robert Smith, Earl Humphrey and I would play around the neighborhood for hours after school. We would climb the cement stairs to the top of the hill (now it’s known as the stairway to heaven). Gary went to college received a PHD in Chemistry and worked for NASA before returning to Pocatello when NASA became a smaller place and needed less people. I helped hire Gary at AMI Semiconductors upon his return and he later left and went to work for an environmental company based in Twin Falls. I spoke to Gary a few weeks before his death and was able to reminisce and just touch base. I will miss you Gary, you were truly a great guy and simply a good person. God bless you. Bill Roberts
